IF YOU ARE A ROASTER, OUR COMPANY MITIGATES YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT
In the production of coffee, a high energy consumption is generated due to each related activity; such as cultivation, harvesting, processes, transport and roasting.
According to University College London (UCL) analysis, a single cup of espresso produces an average carbon footprint of 0.28kg.
Also including those that supply milk, such as latte or cappuccino, it is 0.41kg and 0.55kg.
Due to the increase in coffee consumption we are paying more attention to CO2 reduction. That is why we are mitigating the carbon footprint produced by roasters through a compensation plan.
